Our Mission/ Vision/ Purpose:

LOVING GOD!

LOVING EACH OTHER!

LOVING PEOPLE OF OUR WORLD!

We believe that God desires for us to pursue these three life-encompassing calls.  This begins with the life commitment to Loving God, putting Him first in every aspect of life and making all of life subordinate to His plans and His will.  This is reflected in the inevitable by-product within a Church Body of Loving Each Other.  God has designed us for relationship so that we would live life together and care for one anothers needs.  Finally our life mission which reflects our commitment to God is that we would take on Jesus ministry of Loving the People of Our World.  We reach out to others in tangible hands-on service so that we might share God's love with all of those that we encounter in our lives.
Scriptural Basis

Matthew 22:37-40 (NLT) - The Great Commandment
37 Jesus replied, " `You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 A second is equally important: `Love your neighbor as yourself.'
40 All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."

Matthew 28:19-20 (NLT) - The Great Commission
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Acts 2:42-47 (NLT) - The Great Church
42 They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer.
43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.
44 And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had.
45 They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need.
46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—
47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.

A SIMPLE CHURCH STRATEGY

Our world is busy.  Life can be busy.  We don't want you to become more busy.  We want to see you lead a fulfilling life, growing in three areas; LOVING GOD, LOVING EACH OTHER and LOVING the PEOPLE of THEIR WORLD.  Here is our plan to help you and your family grown in these three areas:

1 -  Active involvement weekly in our SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERING at 10:30 AM.

2 -  Connecting with others regularly in a LIFE GROUP.

3 -  Honoring God's call to GO and GIVE.

  • To "GO" - is the active pursuit of using ones God-given SHAPE (the sum of your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences) to make a difference in the lives of the people in "Your World".  This will look different for every person.  Some will serve in the ministres of PCC by helping with our Youth or Children's Ministries, Hospitality Team, Worship Teams, etc.  Others will find fulfillment in serving locally through a myriad of choices i.e. Soup Kitchen, Compassion Pregnancy Center, AIDs Hospice, Convalescent Ministry, Coaching Youth Sports, etc.  The key here is to experiment with serving while you discover your SHAPE and thespecial place that God has for you in LOVING YOUR WORLD.
  • To "GIVE" - is to support the ministries and missions of your local Church Body and to help provide for the means by which others may "GO".  The Standard that PCC encourages is the biblical Tithe (10% of ones income) given to the local Body and sacrificial giving to other causes and missions as one is impassioned by God to give.
