Pentecost Sunday is the event that birthed the church, but before it was associated with the Holy Spirit coming in power it was originally connected to the Lord giving Moses the law. Jesus gave us His Spirit on this commemorative day because He was fulfilling the law by transforming us by His Spirit from the inside out to be all that we were crated to be - Mark 7:1-23.
