Sometimes we expect God to work in a certain way.  Jesus rarely works in the way that we expect.  Jesus didn't use one formula for every situation, because every person and every situation requires custom care for their custom needs.  God may not ever work in the way or time that we think, but He's always working on our behalf.  He works outside of the box - Mark 7:31-37, 8:22-26.
